Digital Art
By Digital Art I mean the creation of digital images on a PC using a graphic tablet (similar to a touch pad with pen) and a drawing software like Adobe Photoshop. This technique enables to draw on "digital paper". The way you hold the pen and how much pressure you apply on the tablet is then transfered to the computer und digitalised as a brush stroke.
My work experience supervisor from Israel (Prof Akram Alian) asked me to convert his idea for a cover of the Journal of Virology into a digital illustration. I gladly accepted and the cover can be seen on the Journal' s homepage:
